I am a hobbyist from Edinburgh, Scotland who started playing and painting miniature wargames at around aged 9. After the obligatory break from the hobby due to alcohol/women/student poverty, I properly reentered the hobby in 2019 and wondered how I could ever have left it.

Although I started back with Warhammer 40k and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, I’ve since found myself playing a lot more Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game, Star Wars Legion and also beginning to more than dabble in historical wargaming.

When it comes to project types, I generally prefer the satisfying feeling of building a lovely big army, but I’m also looking to focus on display and competition pieces over the next few years to fulfil that dream of one day winning a Golden Demon.

As a graphic designer by day, the creative aspect of the hobby is what interests me the most and tend to spend at least a couple of hours working on projects each day.
